Hello Krisz, glad you you found this article useful (don’t forget there is a version 2 for this article) as for the SWF playing I don’t think it’s possible with just some settings or a small piece of code. So if you want something like this you will have to play a little bit with the code behind Nextgen.

Following your tutorial I was able to intergrate highslide with nextgen. Good work!

I have a question though. I would also like to use highslide .swf playing capability on my website. This way, when clicked on an image highslide would play the swf file instead of the static image.

Any idea how to do that?

Hello Benjamin, that feature is an option in Nextgen Gallery. Just go to the options menu inside Nextgen select Gallery tab and then uncheck Integrate slideshow. This should do the trick.

hi, thank you a lot for this tutorial. I try and try and try, but I can’t find any possiblity to delete or manipulate the “[Show as slideshow]” link. In which folder is this?

Doh. So it goes just there! How do i alter this line to return all the images in a folder, not just ‘test2.jpg’ :

In the edit pane you have 2 tabs, Visual and HTML, switch to HTML and write it there.

Hey Radu,

Highslide is indeed ace. I have it installed in WordPress and running ok. I have discovered, however, that it is only able to display images on the same page (even if all images are in same gallery).

Can you tell me how i place all but 5 images in a hidden div so that i can still make use of Highslide?
